I’ll Push You: A Journey of 500 Miles, Two Best Friends, and One Wheelchair by Patrick Gray, Justin Skeesuck

This is a story about two men, That grew up together and have really deep relationship. In fact, I would say very few people ever get this close to each other in life. Justin requires care and assistance each day because of his disability and requires a wheelchair. Patrick with his big heart gives that assistance in an uncompromising way as a very committed to Justin. When Justin asks Patrick if he would like to walk the 500 mile C amino DE Santiago, Patrick says, “I’ll push you.” They make plans for this trip of a life time, and get a special wheelchair for Justin. Their adventure from beginning to end is told by each person, alternating as authors. The journey is not necessarily planned as a religious experience, but transformation and spiritual growth happens to them both on the journey. By looking in his heart and by thinking about his actions,  Patrick gains from his great and vast love of his friend, Justin. They both also learn so much from each other along the journey trusting Gods wisdom to assist them in difficult times. I totally recommend  reading this book it truly show how to lay ones life down for a friend. Thank you Tyndale for the copy of this book so I could give a wonderful review. God Bless.

The Maggie Bright By: Tracy Groot

Maggie BrightThis is my first book by Tracy Groot and I have to say it did not disappoint. A great  novel full of mystery, history, war, and hidden documents. The Maggie Bright is a big yacht with a few secrets to reveal. This takes place when Hitler was in power  1940s Germany and wow what a fun and exciting trip this story takes you on, I truly enjoy this time period and and the Maggie Bright is one cool boat. A small piece of Dunkirk history: The Dunkirk evacuation, code-named Operation Dynamo, also known as the Miracle of Dunkirk, was the evacuation of Allied soldiers from the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk, France, between 26 May and 4 June 1940, during World War II. The historical mixed with the fictional really brings this story to life. A highly entertaining  page turner, wonderful historical/fiction read. Will the Maggie Bright Survive? I will be reading more from Tracy Groot in the near future. Happy Reading and God Bless. This book was given to me by Tyndale Publishing for an honest review.

Without Warning By: Joel Rosenberg

51nJCVjqtIL._SY346_MY review of Without Warning: A J.B. Collins Novel
Wow!!!! It’s hard to find the words to adequately describe Joel Rosenberg’s latest Novel in the J.B. Collins series Without Warning. J.B. is back and the head of ISIS is still after him and his family. The facts and knowledge that Joel has of the Middle East adds authenticity to his writing. The setting is described in such a way that you can imagine yourself there with J.B., At times my heart was pounding as I turn the page to find out what is going to happen, I have read this entire series thus far and they are all page turners. I can not stop reading them once I start the book. There is a depth to the characters that only comes from being a master storyteller and you root for them to be OK and to get back alive and unharmed. I love the faith basis in Christ that is throughout the book and you want so badly for J.B. to become a saved man. I highly recommend this book as well as all the others of Joel Rosenberg. Do yourself a favor, don’t start this book until you have time to settle in for the great adventure because you will not want to stop reading until the last page is turned!. I was given this book by Tyndale Publishing for an honest review.

The coming Apostasy

The Coming APOSTASY By: Mark Hitchcock & Jeff Kinley

What a great read for the world we are facing today, The end times are for sure knocking on the door, and reading this book is like reading a bible account of the nightly news. We have apostasy in our churches we have it in our homes, government, laws, schools, and the list goes on. From the Christian church afraid to offend its members/givers with the truth of the bible Heaven and Hell is really folks. To the twisted new so called laws of marriage that blurs the lines of right and wrong through the entire world is just plain sick and upsetting. The many people saying the bible is outdated and old news are so so wrong read the bible its like today’s news headlines  the bible is VERY relevant today. As Christians this is our time to shine for Christ and stand up to what is going on in this chaotic world before its to late. This book covers all this and much  more and I found it a real page turner. Get this read it give it to a friend, it could change their life. I want to leave you with a verse that was also in the book and is so true of the times we now live. Jesus is coming please call out to Him and be saved, I want to see you in Heaven, because their is truly a hell.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.” ―2 Timothy 4:3-4

Crossing the Waters: Following Jesus Through the Storms, the Fish, the Doubt, and the Seas

By: Leslie Leyland Fields

Crossing the Waters isn’t your everyday “Christian Life Spiritual Growth book.” It doesn’t attempt to solve life issues with formulas. Fields dives into deep issues and surfaces with questions and feelings that perplex us all. Any reader will identify with Fields’ heart and her question: What does it mean to follow Jesus in the midst of our carnality, sin issue’s, and everyday lives? But as she writes about her faith hurdles and the disciples’ struggles, she always takes the reader back to Jesus. Fields doesn’t minimize the heartache and pain in today’s world, but she shows us how God saves and Carries us through the storm and suffering. She speaks to our fears and doubts, reminding us that Jesus is always enough and always their in our times of trouble. This was provided by publisher for honest review.
